Five Star Trek movies to hit Amazon Prime on July 31st

Here’s a treat from Carty Is Me to those Star Trek aficionados, there will be more Star Trek movies available for streaming from Amazon Prime. Yup, just to be clear, not from Netflix, but Amazon will add five classic Star Trek movies to Prime Video on July 31st in the U.S. The 5 movies are the “Next Generation” Star Trek (“Star Trek: First Contact”, “Star Trek: Insurrection” and “Star Trek: Nemesis”) and the original series (“Star Trek IV – The Voyage Home” and “Star Trek VI – The Undiscovered Country”).

It is a good set of Star Trek movies that fans will surely love. This could be a good way to brush up on Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) ahead of his new streaming series on CBS All Access in the US, Star Trek: Picard, that is coming soon.

This is indeed a piece of great news for Star Trek fans who had to deal with an incomplete movie lineup on Amazon Prime before. Gone are the days when watching Trek shows is not easy. They won’t have to watch pre-streaming shows on Netflix, then switch to Amazon for all the movies, then switch to CBS All Access to go watch Star Trek: Discovery. They could watch everything now from Amazon prime.
